On April 3, 1988, the Los Angeles Times Magazine produced a special issue predicting what life would be like a family all the way in the distant future of 2013. Believe it or not, the vision they painted for the Granada Hills-dwelling clan of the future was not that far off from the world we live in today.

DIY Eight to Twenty Eight Strand Spiral Braids Using a Cardboard Weaving Wheel Tutorial from How Did You Make This? here. For the eight strand braid go here. EDIT: ofwordsandwaltzes messaged me that the spiral braid is made using an ancient Japanese technique called kumihimo. Joy-personified messaged me this helpful hint:Regarding the kumihimo post from earlier, I find that it’s MUCH easier to make the bracelets on a foam wheel! Cardboard can mess up the strings. I bought a sheet of foam at Michael’s for a dollar or less, and just cut out a hole in the middle and slits on the side, and it works perfectly :)
got started on this cover-up on a close friend today. my first big cover-up. going back in with some color soon, maybe all opaque greys and blues.

“With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest, or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, senator.”

This is truly upsetting. It matters what our government keeps covered up, and lies about. Yes 4 Americans died thats why the truth matters so much more. Someone made the call not to go after our people and we need to find out who that was so they are no longer able to be in power. We don’t leave any American behind.
